The
Junior Boys hockey team of Crescent Castle Public School, Ooty, have done the
Nilgiris and their school proud by getting selected to represent Tamil Nadu at
the National Meet of Association of Schools of Indian School Certificate
(ASISC).
“This
follows our winning at the ASISC Tamil Nadu Sports Meet held at Coimbatore. Our Juniors will vie for the Nationals title
in Jalandhar of Punjab next month”, Crescent Correspondent G Umar Farouk said after complimenting the
players and the coach. 
“We
are imparting necessary higher level training to our players to hone up their
skills to bag the Nationals title”, he added.
Crescent has the credit of motivating its students with legends from various fields. That way, Dhanraj Pillai had motivated hockey players of the school sharing his experiences.
